Name: Barry Holland Location: Shrewsbury Artist Music Genre: Techno Performance Type: DJ Set Performance medium: Traktor Pro Bazland discovered a passion for dj'ing from a mixture of excitement brought on by the new wave of technology and a new found love of electronic music! Hes been djing to the public through his involvement in Traffic Music in Shrewsbury which has seen him dj across Shropshire, and as far as Birmingham, Leicester and London! His passion for dj'ing is matched by complimentary passions for promoting events, running the BAZaa sound system and pushing his latest venture the BAZaa artist agency, which understandably limits his focus and sometimes leaves only the occasional traffic/teknik event for his DJ output! The current Bazland DJ setup is based around the latest version of Traktor Pro used internally with controllers/effects and over HID/USB with the cdj2000's through his xone 96 dj mixer, having organicly progressed through vinyl/cd's over the years, and is always experimenting with the latest software/hardware like the new Roland AIRA gear to add something special to his molecular style sets.

Name: Jamie Rowe Location: Shrewsbury Artist Music Genre: Drum & Bass (Deep Rolling/Liquid) Performance Type: DJ Set Performance medium: Traktor Scratch Conspire has had his technics since day dot and only ever loved one type of music, drum and bass in its rawest and funkiest forms. The stacks upon stacks of vinyl still in his possession go way back to his roots, early metalheadz, seminal good looking, reinforced etc, and these foundations are what still inspires him to keep mixing today, albeit the more modern sound that can generally be described as liquid.
Hes played out across the midlands, held residencies in Shrewsbury and Leicester, played for the ever evolving pro:session crew in Birmingham and graced lineups alongside most of the dj's he looks up to, including LTJ Bukem and the late great Marcus Intalex. The vinyl has had to make way for the latest Traktor Scratch Timecode Technology but his beloved Technics will be a part of his dj setup forever. A lover of longer sets and deeper grooves, Conspire will always provide an educational dancefloor frenzy. James Taylor Location: Shrewsbury Artist Music Genre: Techno / House Performance Type: DJ Set Performance medium: Traktor Scratch James fell in love with electronic music from an early age and still has a room full of dusty Bedrock vinyls that represent his long dedication to the underground sounds of progressive house that compliment his current sound which incorporates quality deep house beats and only the finest grooving musical techno. Hes played up and down the country over the years and is just as happy in the smaller intimate spaces aswell as the bigger and busier Clubs. His sound is undefineable but can always be recognised as only carefully selected cuts make the grade for his sets that can range from warmup style grooving house right through to peaktime techno masterpieces.
James has a real love for the music that encompasses so much of his life and is a stickler for standing by his beliefs and ensuring that only the purest music gets played in his sets and at his traffic nights which has a very strict booking policy. Name: Jack Turner Location: Shrewsbury Artist Music Genre: Intelligent Drum and Bass Performance Type: DJ Set Performance Medium: Traktor Scratch Jay Dubz has been DJing for 10+ years now, originally getting his first break on Telford based pirate station Dimension FM in 2003. He was then a key figure in setting up Midlands Rush in 2006, a pirate station specifically catering for Underground music.
He now concentrates his efforts helping promote Perception, a regular Intelligent Drum and Bass night in Shrewsbury. Playing alongside big acts such as Marcus Intalex, Lenzman, Furney and Spectrasoul to name a few in its unique compact, mc free environment. He has played all over the place through the years and continues to push his sound at only the most forward thinking underground music nights and festivals. Not strictly pigeon holed by any certain genre of drum and bass but obviously leaning towards only the more intelligent and funky sounds. Also recently played at Baileys London based Soul in Motion night!
